Delta Technologies Nyrt., listed on the Budapest Stock Exchange, pays special attention to the digital inclusion of educational institutions. In line with this effort, the company's subsidiary Delta Systems Kft., together with Delta Informatika Zrt., contributed to the development of the equipment of the Debrecen Vocational Training Centre with a total of 1,000 thin-client workstations.
The handover of the equipment took place at the Debrecen Vocational Training Centre, attended by László Vidra, Managing Director of Delta Systems Ltd, Zsolt Tirpák, Chancellor of the Debrecen Vocational Training Centre, Dr. Lajos Barcsa, Director of the Mechwart András Mechanical and Informatics Engineering Technical School, and Dr. Lajos Barcsa, Deputy Mayor of Debrecen.
László Vidra, Managing Director of Delta Systems Ltd., said at the event that the company is committed to the digital upgrading of educational institutions, and has been closely cooperating with the City of Debrecen for years. He added that the Debrecen Vocational Training Centre plays a significant role in the city's reputation as one of the centres of Central and Eastern Europe, and he is confident that the company will be able to contribute to the higher quality of education provided by the institution with the thin clients it has handed over.
A key factor in the curriculum of the Debrecen Vocational Training Centre is the introduction of digital culture in order to provide its students with the knowledge required by the 21st century labour market. In line with this ambition, Delta has donated a total of 1000 HP thin client workstations.
Zsolt Tirpák, Chancellor of the Debrecen Vocational Training Centre, added that the new Vocational Training Act and the Vocational Training 4.0 strategy have created the legal environment that will enable the implementation of high-quality vocational training. The strategy is based on three pillars: it is important that students learn in an attractive environment, from up-to-date teachers and that they have a career pathway. An attractive environment can only be achieved if the infrastructure is right and students can learn the basics of their chosen profession in high-quality, state-of-the-art workshops. Delta's tools support this objective.
