Delta rang the bell on the Budapest Stock Exchange

Published: March 11, 2022
A ceremonial opening bell today on the Budapest Stock Exchange signalled the launch of Delta Technologies Plc. 125,000,000 new shares were admitted to the Standard category of BSE.

With this share issue, the process of Delta Technologies Plc's market entry since 2019 has been completed.

The event was attended by the members of the Board of Directors of Delta Technologies Plc, the Chairman of the Supervisory and Audit Committee, Péter Kövesdi, the representatives of DLA Piper Law Firm (Dr. András Nemescsói, Dr. Gábor Molnár, Dr. Balázs Szalbot) and the members of Delta's Capital Markets Communications department.

The bell-ringing event was launched by Gábor Péter Nagy, Director of Sales, Marketing and Issuer Acquisitions of the Budapest Stock Exchange, followed by the ringing of the iconic bell by Gergely Bodzási and László Vidra, members of the Board of Directors.

On behalf of the Supervisory Authority, we would like to thank Dr. Péter Barnóczki, Director of Delta, who accepted our invitation and launched Delta shares together with us. On 21 February 2022, the Hungarian National Bank approved the prospectus for the listing of 125,000,000 dematerialised ordinary shares of Delta Technologies, series A, of HUF 0.78 each. Pursuant to this decision, the shares were admitted to trading on the BSE spot market, which increased the number of ordinary shares of the company traded in the Standard class from 258,000,000 to 383,000,000.

As one of the country's longest-established system integrators, we are particularly honoured to be part of the Hungarian capital market. Delta's history of more than three decades ensures our place in the domestic technology sector with outstanding professional complexity. The IPO is an important step in the implementation of our strategic plans to strengthen our position in both commercial and future-oriented technological innovations, such as Industry 4.0, smart cities and support for Hungarian digital education.
- said Zoltán Csontos, Chairman of the Board of Delta Technologies.
This was an important day in the life of Delta Technologies Plc, which also marked the end of a long process.
We hope to report more successful projects in the future.
